About Corey

First, let me make it clear that I am a real person.  By this, I mean that I don't always want to workout.  I don't always want to eat healthy.  I crave and occassionally enjoy delicious, non-nutritious foods like pizza, doughnuts, ice cream, and heavy pasta dishes.  I love food!  I love lazy Saturday (or Sunday) afternoons with my wife!  However, I believe that everything in life requires balance and this includes nutrition and exercise.  So, relax and take a deep breath.  You're not dealing with a "nutrition nazi" or a sadistic trainer.  I just believe that a healthy balance enriches life.  With that being said, here's a little more about me.

Educationally (academic and real-world), I am a nationally certified trainer and hold two degrees - Allied Health and Nutrition Science.  For more than a decade, I've lived on the front lines of fitness, dealing with real people and getting real results.  During this time I’ve applied science and real-world feedback to achieve success on a consistent basis with a broad range of clients.  My client list has included high-level athletes, professional musicians, stay-at-home moms, notable Hollywood figures, doctors, nurses, college students, business owners, professors, as well as professional bodybuilders and figure competitors.

Athletically, I competed at the national level of drug-free bodybuilding for almost ten years.  My contest history includes five 1st place and three 2nd place finishes, along with a Junior Olympic Gold Medal.  These years spent in the world of physique sports has been an absolutely invaluable resource as I strive to help others achieve a physical transformation.  NO one is better at losing fat and re-shaping their bodies than natural bodybuilders!

Spiritually, I am passionate about my relationship with God.  At the age of 11, I was baptized and became a “born-again” Christian.  Almost 20 years later, I'm still striving to be an authentic Christ-follower.  My relationship with God has shaped me, my nutritional strategies, and my business practices.  While I would never try to push my beliefs or nutritional practices on anyone, I do think it is nearly impossible to live a fulfilled, vibrant life of total health without addressing your personal spirituality.

I believe there is a common spiritual element among human beings.  We all want to touch divinity.  We want to believe in something bigger, better, and more powerful than us.  And we want to believe that It cares and can help when life gets scary.  At some point in life, we will all discover a mysterious craving that resides deep within.  Many attempt to shrug it off.  Some never take the time to identify what it is their soul craves.  Sadly many will miss out, because . . .
Complete fulfillment only comes when your soul is connected to the source of it’s creation.

Regardless of who you are or what you believe, don’t you owe it to yourself to search for divinity?  An authentic relationship with God has the potential to transform your physical, social, and emotional life more than you can imagine.

May you be healthy and blessed,
Corey Little

Corey is an excellent, engaging speaker who relates his knowledge of nutrition and exercise to the real world on a level that is very applicable and meaningful. My students often say that he is among their favorite guest speakers in my class. I have been impressed with his presentations and recommended him to other instructors in my department!

It has been my privilege to see Corey Little speak and share an incredible presentation on health, nutrition and fitness in a church service and through another meeting for young adults. He is a fantastic person to work with, and presents a first class presentation. Corey went above and beyond what we had hoped for at our church, and I hope to work with him again in the future. He comes with my highest recommendation to any church considering using his gifts.

Hey Corey,
I just wanted to thank you again for coming to speak on Tuesday.
I received loads of positive feedback and I know everyone really enjoyed your talk. I think putting what you read in a book into a more applicative context was a big help. I will definitely look into having you back again. I wish you all the best for the rest of this year! Thanks again!
