About Corey

First, let me make it clear that I am a normal person just like you.  In other words, I don't always enjoy exercise and I certainly do not always want to eat healthy.  I crave and occasionally enjoy delicious, non-nutritious foods like pizza, heavy pasta dishes, doughnuts, ice cream, and cake.  As a matter of fact, I absolutely love food!  I love decadent comfort foods and believe everyone should have the freedom to eat their favorite dishes and desserts.  However, I also believe that everything in life requires balance and this definitely applies to nutrition.
So, relax and take a deep breath.
You're not dealing with a "nutrition nazi" or some sadistic trainer.  I just believe that a healthy balance enriches life.  My goal is not to make you miserable, just to make you better!

Educationally, I hold two degrees: Nutrition Science and Allied Health.  Being a nationally certified trainer since 1998, I've lived on the front lines of fitness, dealing with real people and getting real results.  Blending science with real-world feedback has allowed me to achieve consistent success with a broad range of clients.  My client list has included high-level athletes, professional musicians, stay-at-home moms, notable Hollywood figures, doctors, nurses, college students, professors, business owners, as well as professional bodybuilders and figure competitors.

Athletically, I competed at the national level of drug-free bodybuilding for almost ten years.  My contest history includes five 1st place and three 2nd place finishes, along with a Junior Olympic Gold Medal.  Years spent in the world of physique sports has been an invaluable resource as I strive to help others achieve physical transformation.

Spiritually, I am passionate about my relationship with God.  At the age of 11, I became a “believer” – a follower of Christ.  Almost 20 years later, I'm still striving to be an authentic Christian.  My relationship with God has shaped me, my nutritional strategies, and my business practices.  While I would never attempt to push my beliefs on anyone, I do think it is nearly impossible to live a fulfilled, vibrant life of total health without addressing your personal spirituality.
Complete fulfillment truly comes when your soul is connected to the source of it’s creation.
Regardless of who you are or what you believe, don’t you owe it to yourself to search for divinity?  An authentic relationship with God has the potential to transform your physical, social, and emotional life more than you can imagine.

May you be healthy and blessed,

Corey is an excellent, engaging speaker who relates his knowledge of nutrition and exercise to the real world on a level that is very applicable and meaningful. My students often say that he is among their favorite guest speakers in my class. I have been impressed with his presentations and recommended him to other instructors in my department!

It has been my privilege to see Corey Little speak and share an incredible presentation on health, nutrition and fitness in a church service and through another meeting for young adults. He is a fantastic person to work with, and presents a first class presentation. Corey went above and beyond what we had hoped for at our church, and I hope to work with him again in the future. He comes with my highest recommendation to any church considering using his gifts.

Hey Corey,
I just wanted to thank you again for coming to speak on Tuesday.
I received loads of positive feedback and I know everyone really enjoyed your talk. I think putting what you read in a book into a more applicative context was a big help. I will definitely look into having you back again. I wish you all the best for the rest of this year! Thanks again!
